No More Lemons.
No More Surprises.
Every year, thousands of Ghanaian and Nigerian car buyers are deceived into purchasing flood-damaged or accident-written-off vehicles — losing tens of thousands of cedis in the process.
CarCheki exists to level the playing field. For a flat GH₵500, any buyer can access the same vehicle history data that professional dealers and insurance companies use — delivered in 30 seconds, on any phone.
What We Stand For
Our values shape every feature, every data point, and every decision.
Transparency
Every CarChekiReport is based on real vehicle data. No estimates. No guesses. Just verified facts.
Trust First
We built CarCheki because the used car market needed an independent, trustworthy source of truth.
Built for West Africa
We're made by Ghanaians, for Ghanaians and Nigerians. Mobile Money payments, local language, local context.
Buyer Empowerment
We believe every car buyer — regardless of budget or expertise — deserves to know exactly what they're buying.
Our Journey
From a local startup to West Africa's leading VIN check platform
CarCheki Founded
CarCheki was built in Accra with one mission: give West African car buyers the same access to vehicle history that buyers in Europe and North America take for granted.
First Reports Live
Crossed our first few hundred CarChekiReports. Car buyers across Ghana started sharing them in WhatsApp groups and car sale listings.
Mobile Money Launch
Launched seamless MTN, Vodafone, and AirtelTigo Mobile Money integration. Buyers can now pay for reports without a bank card.
Nigeria Expansion
Expanded to Nigeria with NGN currency support. CarCheki now serves West Africa's two largest car markets.
Expanded Data Coverage
Deepened our data partnerships to cover more accident, title, and auction records — making every CarChekiReport more complete and reliable.
The Team
Car people, data people, and people who just hate getting ripped off.
